Speaking at the opening ceremony on the evening of November 23, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Nguyễn Văn Hùng affirmed that traditional Vietnamese culture in general, and that of ethnic minorities in particular, is a precious heritage. It is not just the property of a particular land, people, or locality, but also the invaluable asset of the nation, contributing to the richness, diversity, and unity of Vietnamese culture.
The preservation of the traditional cultural identity of ethnic minority communities is of special significance in building and developing the country, Minister Nguyễn Văn Hùng emphasized.
