HCMC - Iconic structures of Hanoi such as Long Bien Bridge, Dong Xuan Market... are recreated at Nguyen Hue walking street, attracting locals and tourists.
According to Lao Dong's report, many locals and tourists are delighted and enthusiastic when visiting and experiencing the exhibition space on intangible cultural heritage of the capital Hanoi... right at Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1, HCMC) this weekend.
This is a series of activities within the program 'Hanoi Days in HCMC' lasting until August 25 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (10.10.1954 - 10.10.2024).
In particular, the Long Bien Bridge heritage - one of the historical symbols of the Capital Hanoi, is a highlight attracting a large number of people to check-in.
Miniatures like Hanoi Mid-Autumn Festival, Hoan Kiem Lake, Street of Mural Paintings... also contribute to giving southern people the opportunity to experience and appreciate more about the Capital.
In addition, the program also features an exhibition "Thang Long Imperial Citadel - Hanoi - A Heritage for the Future"; an exhibition of paintings, photos, and documents about the Special National Monument "Literature Temple - Quoc Tu Giam" right at the HCMC Museum.
Typical dishes and streets of Hanoi are also recreated at the Nguyen Hue walking street area.
The activities in the program aim to disseminate the significance of the Liberation Day of the Capital and the achievements of 70 years of building and developing the Capital. At the same time, it promotes the unique cultural traits and exemplary cultural heritage in Hanoi.
