Located about 21km from the center of Mộc Châu district (Sơn La province), the terraced fields in Suối Lìn village, Vân Hồ district offer a poetic and peaceful landscape. The terraced field, which spans 23 hectares, is currently in the lush green rice season, attracting many tourists for memorable photos. Quang Kiên, a young travel enthusiast in Mộc Châu, said: “The roads are quite easy to navigate, and tourists can travel by motorbike or car. The rice season in Suối Lìn, Vân Hồ will last for another month.” Recently, Vân Hồ's weather has been erratic with sunny and rainy spells; it is dry during the day but may rain at night. From August 19 onwards, the weather is predicted to be sunny and pleasant, suitable for sightseeing, enjoying the rice, and taking photos in the terraced fields. Not only can visitors admire the lush green rice fields, but in the morning at Suối Lìn, Vân Hồ, they can also hunt for clouds. The best times to enjoy the rice fields are from 6-9 AM and in the afternoon from 3-6 PM due to the gentle sunlight. “The first time coming here, I felt extremely excited because I didn't think Mộc Châu had such beautiful terraced rice fields that I previously only saw in Sa Pa and Pù Luông. Now everyone can enjoy the rice right near Mộc Châu,” Quang Kiên shared.
