The tents on the white sand beaches and the cute animals at the off-road vehicle area are two attractions for young people at Ocean City operated by Vietgangz - a pioneer in outdoor business on the east side of Hanoi.
From a trend shared widely on social mediaIn recent years, glamping - "luxurious" camping with convenient services has become a popular travel trend for many people. In addition to glamping locations in mountainous regions, the eastern part of the capital is one of the new ideal glamping sites that "catches the trend" for young people, featuring beautiful natural landscapes, amenities, and bustling streets.
Among them, Vietgangz is one of the successful brands pioneering this service at Vinhomes Ocean Park 1.
Since its grand opening in 2022, the glamping area with luxurious tents, surrounded by stylish coffee tables and campfires on the white sand under green coconut trees... has quickly attracted attention from not only residents but also tourists.
On weekends, there are also fun activities with pets like mini Pony horses, goats, and white sheep... that many children enjoy. In 2022 alone, Vietgangz Beach Club attracted nearly 20,000 tourists and nearby residents, accounting for 40% of Vietgangz's total visitors in the Hanoi area.

"My family received many likes and requests for the address when I posted camping pictures on Facebook. Friends were very surprised to know this is a camping site where I live. After that, many people also made reservations for their families to come and play on weekends, but usually have to book 1-2 weeks in advance due to high demand. It’s understandable because people in Hanoi currently lack public spaces for family activities," Ms. Thu Phuong, a resident of Vinhomes Ocean Park 1 shared.
Continuing the success of the glamping service, Vietgangz "rides the wave" with the outdoor recreation area Vietgangz Farm, which includes many exciting activities like tent camping, a zoo, outdoor BBQ, and an off-road vehicle area… This place continues to become a new destination for young people and families with children to play and have educational experiences.

Sharing about the reason for choosing the business location in the eastern part of Hanoi, Mr. Dao Duong Anh - representative of Vietgangz said: "The first time I saw the scenery at Vinhomes Ocean Park, it was hard to believe I was in Hanoi. There is green space, white sand beaches by the lake, a large public space, and importantly, facilities for dining, shopping, and overnight stays just like in the city, perfectly matching the local tourism demand - everything the youth and young families need."
Facing the challenge of maintaining customer flow to avoid "blooming early and fading late"
As one of the pioneering units in exploiting outdoor tourism in Vietnam, Vietgangz has made its mark with models that attract young people such as beach clubs, glamping clubs, horse clubs, motorcycle clubs, and farms.
However, the biggest challenge in outdoor business is enhancing the customer experience and maintaining visitor numbers in the long term. Customers increasingly want to experience more than just a single outing: camping, taking photos, educational activities, family bonding, dining, coffee, and resting for a whole day to justify the trip.
The key to Vietgangz's success lies in the choice of business locations. A site doesn't need to be large in area but must prioritize surrounding complexes and ensure deep experiences for customers.
With the location of Ocean City covering 1,200 hectares, there are many services that support glamping experiences such as shopping centers, cafes, restaurants, bar clubs, amusement parks, and complementary beaches… Vietgangz only needs to focus on building and refreshing products seasonally without having to incur significant investment costs into land or infrastructure.
This is likened to the "vein" that allows Vietgangz's service areas in the eastern capital to maintain large customer volumes. The rate of repeat visitors also increases, especially during festival periods.
"At Vietgangz Beach Club Hanoi, young people can enjoy the luxurious glamping atmosphere by the white sandy beach just like in Nha Trang or Phu Quoc. While at Vietgangz Farm, it resembles a miniature Da Lat facing VinUni with a zoo and activities like motorcycle racing. Each season of the year, we add seasonal activities and decorations, for example, a Christmas tree lighting festival, end-of-year Christmas parties by the beach, and camping-style birthday services," Mr. Dao Duong Anh stated.

According to Mr. Dao Duong Anh, it is currently a time to attract many customers to the two Vietgangz facilities. Among them, resident visitors account for 60%, while tourists from Hanoi and surrounding provinces account for the remaining 40%, with a 75% return rate - a desirable figure for outdoor businesses in the northern region.
Notably, when the Center Point commercial complex at Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 and the Mega Grand World Hà Nội shopping-entertainment complex is completed between Vinhomes Ocean Park 2 and Vinhomes Ocean Park 3, Ocean City will welcome a huge influx of visitors. Vietgangz announced plans to enhance the landscape and add new games to create fresher, more attractive experiences for customers.
Accompanying the "giant" Vinhomes, Vietgangz's services have maximized their advantages.
Mr. Dao Duong Anh also mentioned that Vietgangz Group is considering and researching to implement further strengths in business at Ocean City, such as horse clubs, to serve nearly 250,000 future residents and millions of expected tourists to Ocean City every year when the "destination city" completes its building blocks.
