Customers carry offerings worth tens of millions of dong to seek blessings from Lady Chua Kho.

From February 13 to the full moon of the first month, thousands of people flock to the Ba Chua Kho temple in Bac Ninh to "seek fallen and scattered blessings," hoping for a year of prosperity and smooth business activities.​

On February 24 (the full moon of the first month), thousands of visitors came to the Ba Chua Kho temple (Co Me area, Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh) to offer their prayers. This place has long been famous as a temple where many businesspeople come to "pray for blessings and borrow fortune."

A representative from the management board of the historical site stated that since the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, there have been many visitors coming to offer their prayers, peaking on the 12th and 13th of the first month - the death anniversary of Ba Chua Kho.
"On the full moon, people usually hold ceremonies at home. So, after the full moon, many groups of spring travelers will visit, and the temple also welcomes a larger number of pilgrims," he added.

Many people purchase complete prayer sets that include gold, incense... and also have someone carry the offerings from the gate to the altar inside the temple.

The price of the simplest offering set ranges from 150,000 to 500,000 VND. More elaborate offerings with sticky rice and boiled chicken cost around one million VND. Additionally, some families prepare multiple offerings valued at tens of millions of VND.

Mr. Tuan Cuong (Hanoi) offered six sets of offerings including a lot of gold, boiled chicken, sticky rice, and fruits... priced at over ten million VND. Mr. Cuong shared: "My family has maintained the practice of visiting the Ba Chua Kho temple for over ten years, and we prepare offerings like this every year. I hope to obtain many blessings and favorable conditions for work in the new year."

Despite the organizers continuously making announcements urging visitors not to hire people to pray for them, the public hiring of prayers still occurred openly inside the main shrine.
The hired prayers carried a notebook to write down the prayers, customer information, and two coins for divination, with the hiring fee ranging from 200,000 VND to several million VND per session.

Behind the temple, the gold burning furnace is always ablaze, "burning" huge amounts of paper money offered by the people to Ba Chua Kho.
