On September 1-2, in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh), residents and tourists will have the opportunity to experience free balloon flights and tours.

The program is being organized for the first time in Ha Long City with the theme "Heritage City - The Colors of Ha Long" in 2024. This is one of the activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being designated as a World Natural Heritage Site (1994-2024).
According to the plan, the festival will include hot air balloon flights, balloon tours, a lantern night with balloons, and ground decorative balloons.
The festival will open at 7 a.m. on September 1. From 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m. each day, hot air balloon flights will be conducted. Ha Long City will issue free flight and tour tickets (or cards) to control the number of visitors. The event will take place at 30.10 Square and Ocean Park Beach.
The lantern night with balloons will be held at 7:30 p.m. on September 2 at 30.10 Square. Ground decorative balloons will take place on September 1 and 2 at 30.10 Square.
In addition to the balloon festival, there will be supplementary activities such as paramotoring. The flight route will start from Bai Chay, flying over the Cu Luq Bay to 30.10 Square and back.
It is expected that the festival will be held annually by Ha Long City to create new and attractive tourism products, contributing to achieving the goal of attracting about 10 million tourists to Ha Long in 2024.
