This masterpiece by renowned architect Marco Casamonti is highlighted by two independent branches extending out to the open sea, meeting in a unified form but separated by 30cm—just enough for two lovers to share a romantic kiss.

The special design of Kiss Bridge conveys a timeless message about love and the connection between people, nature, and the universe. Notably, this is also one of the most impressive destinations in Vietnam to welcome the New Year 2024, as on January 1, when viewed from the center of Sunset Town, the setting sun will drop right in the middle of the gap between the two branches of the bridge before gradually "sinking" down into the ocean. Currently, visitors can freely visit Kiss Bridge. This offer lasts until December 30, 2023.

Enjoy carefree dining at the seaside night market​

When in Phú Quốc, if you want to experience a traditional, long-standing market, tourists can choose Dương Đông night market. To switch things up and experience a unique journey of the senses and creative activities, Vui Phết (VUI-Fest Bazaar), Vietnam's first seaside night market launched at the end of December in Sunset Town, is an unmissable choice. VUI-Fest is open from 4 PM to midnight every day.
VUI-Fest has added a lively "outfit" to Sunset Town alongside its lyrical atmosphere. Here, visitors can shop and dine freely at over 50 booths showcasing local products, handmade gifts, and culinary delights from both domestic and international sources. Every night, the market will feature the Loảng Xoảng street musical show—a unique combination of street circus and sound effects created from kitchen tools and fishermen's nets, promising moments of "joy forgetting the way home" for those who visit the VUI-Fest night market.

Explore the sea via the Hòn Thơm cable car​

From Sunset Town, visitors will enjoy a memorable “flight” over the blue sea on the cable car to Hòn Thơm Island, holding the record for the longest three-wire cable car in the world. The cable car operates daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, with ticket prices ranging from 600,000 VND (excluding lunch buffet) to 850,000 VND (including lunch buffet).
From the cable car cabin, visitors will witness the stunning panoramic view of Phú Quốc's sea, admire the clear blue waters along with hundreds of fishing boats docked at An Thới port changing colors according to the sunlight. From December 21, 2023, visitors coming to Sunset Town can enjoy a 7-minute fireworks display following the conclusion of the Kiss of the Sea show—Asia's largest multimedia water performance—with tickets starting at just 250,000 VND. The show begins at 8:30 PM daily.

Spanning 25 minutes in duration, the show transports visitors through space and time into a fantastical universe, showcasing spectacular fire, water, and laser effects, culminating in a 7-minute grand fireworks finale. Notably, this spectacular fireworks display is not limited to holidays but continues throughout the year, making Phú Quốc the only island in the world with a nightly fireworks technology show.

Admire Phú Quốc through paintings at the “Phú Quốc – Radiant Journey” exhibition​

In addition to exciting recreational activities, Sunset Town is also an attractive destination for art lovers, especially painting. The “Phú Quốc - Radiant Journey” painting exhibition at the Ánh Dương station, the departure station for the Hòn Thơm cable car, offers an opportunity to see a very different Phú Quốc through 30 artworks of various materials from 10 artists of the Urban Sketchers Vietnam group from Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Countdown to 2024 in Sunset Town style​

All experiences will culminate in the Countdown 2024 event at Ánh Dương square, Sunset Town, in front of the Hòn Thơm cable car departure station. Phú Quốc will be the center of the nation during this sacred moment, being the main bridge of the “Countdown 2024: Vietnam – Radiant Journey” program organized in collaboration between Vietnam Television and Sun Group, featuring a huge artistic stage and a dazzling fireworks display. Notably, according to the organizing committee's hints, the finest artists in the country will also "land" in Phú Quốc to light up this event.
