An American man has created a sensation on Ukrainian social media after being spotted dressed similarly to Jesus Christ and carrying a large wooden cross on his shoulder while walking towards Kyiv.
Identified only as Jimmy from Virginia, the young American has attracted a lot of attention as he walked through Poland and Ukraine due to his unusual outfit and the large wooden cross on his shoulder. He told several Ukrainian news agencies that reporters who interviewed him that he does not actually have a specific goal. He left the Polish capital of Warsaw and hopes to eventually walk to the Ukrainian city of Kyiv, but he leaves that plan in the hands of God. The 33-year-old man claims he is simply following his heart's calling because that is the best way to honor God.

“I’m not really trying to prove anything. I want to be a better person,” Jimmy said. “And I think that’s the best way to do it and also the way to honor God. I think this is the best reason.”
