The sacred peak of Ba Den Mountain has the most beautifully designed landscape tourism area in Vietnam.

As part of the Dot Property Awards 2023 ceremony (November 16), Sun World Ba Den Mountain – a resort created by the Sun Group at the peak of Ba Mountain (Tay Ninh) has been honored as the “Most Beautifully Designed Tourist Destination in Vietnam 2023.”

With the theme “Sustainable Development: The Timeless Value of Sustainable Business Models,” Dot Property Awards 2023 - a prestigious annual international award in the real estate ecosystem in Southeast Asia, has recognized businesses that epitomize the spirit of overcoming difficulties and rising in crises.

As a destination that has seen remarkable breakthroughs due to synchronized investment in landscape and unique cultural experiences, Sun World Ba Den Mountain has proudly received the award for “Best Tourism Landscape Design Vietnam 2023” at this year’s ceremony.
According to experts from Dot Property Group - the organizing body of Dot Property Awards 2023, the recent economic crisis has been a wake-up call regarding concerns for human health across many industries and sectors. The greatest demand of the community now lies in human factors, specifically physical and mental health, which has played a crucial role in the success of Sun World Ba Den Mountain at this year's awards, due to the values it brings to visitors’ spirits after each trip.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Ms. Nguyễn Lâm Nhi Thùy - Deputy General Director of Sun Group in the Southern region stated: “This award not only recognizes the community and experts for a tourist destination with thoughtfully and creatively designed landscapes and a diversity of unique cultural experiences, but it also encourages us to strive even harder, to contribute to making Ba Den National Tourist Area a distinctive center for culture, spirituality, entertainment, and eco-tourism in the nation and the region.”
Ms. Nhi Thùy further shared that besides major projects designed by international partners, most of the landscapes at the peak are currently designed and created by the architects and engineers of Sun World Ba Den Mountain, with the idea of creating tranquil meditation corners amidst the serene nature of Ba Mountain. The materials used in the landscapes here are predominantly natural materials found in Ba Mountain, environmentally friendly and providing peaceful experiences for visitors.

Officially launched in 2020, with its first feature being the modern cable car system and the largest cable car station in the world, KDL Sun World Ba Den Mountain has significantly contributed to making Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh a top destination in the South, with landscapes worthy of the title “the most beautiful mountain” along with a system of magnificent structures and many captivating cultural and spiritual experiences.
At an altitude of 986m, the spiritual constructions on the peak of Ba Den Mountain are designed as a journey to connect and awaken the “four immeasurable minds” in each person according to Buddhist teachings. The system of constructions creates a contemporary appearance akin to a unique architectural artwork, while still deeply embodying the spirit of traditional Buddhist culture.

Deservedly awarded as the “Most Beautifully Designed Tourist Destination in Vietnam 2023,” Sun World Ba Den Mountain is as beautiful as a fairyland, with over 50,000 flower roots blooming continuously year-round along with unique gardens rich in meditative colors. Among them, the Vô Ngã Garden, which covers an area of 1,500 m2 at the summit, is designed in the Japanese bonsai garden style with numerous bonsai trees and moon mini landscapes, featuring peaceful little monks, is a resting place for visitors to relax and contemplate after their tour of Ba Den Mountain.
In the evening, the peak of Ba Den resembles an enchanting night painting, with an artistic lighting system designed by architect Shin Takamatsu - who has been awarded the highest honor by the Japan Architects Association. The lighting system is created by over 3,500 LED lights illuminating the peak, with 29 mosaics and over 480 embedded lights, allowing for spectacular artistic light performances.

The most unique cultural and spiritual experiences at Sun World Ba Den Mountain include an exhibition space displaying replicas of classic Buddhist artworks from Vietnam and around the world; a center for film screenings about the origin of the universe using state-of-the-art 3D mapping technology; an exhibition space showcasing models of ancient Vietnamese pagodas via 3D Hologram technology; a cluster of black granite stupas inscribed with the Prajnaparamita Sutra in golden Tibetan script… This is also one of the rare places in Vietnam that preserves the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni - a treasure of Buddhism bestowed by Bodhi Gaya (India).
At Sun World Ba Den Mountain, many major festivals are held throughout the year, such as the Ba Den Spring Festival, the Linh Son Holy Mother Festival, Buddha's Birthday, Vu Lan Festival, and the Maitreya Buddha Festival… offering sacred experiences that make Ba Den Mountain a cultural and spiritual destination, and a top healing destination in the South.

As of the end of October, there have been 4.5 million visitors taking the cable car to Ba Den Mountain - Sun World Ba Den Mountain

Overcoming the quiet period of the tourism industry, Sun World Ba Den Mountain is one of the top 5 most attractive destinations in the country in 2022. By the end of October, there have been 4.5 million visitors taking the cable car to Ba Den Mountain, equal to the total number of visitors to Tay Ninh for the entire year of 2022. The number of international visitors has also tripled compared to the same period last year.
