Residents in some neighborhoods have created spectacular light displays and reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh. Catholic families eagerly decorate their nativity scenes and hang lights outside their homes to welcome Christmas Day and pray for a peaceful and joyful new year.
"Christmas in Da Lat is truly wonderful; the streets these days seem to be wearing a magnificent new coat, charming, and every spot is perfect for pictures. The homestay where I am staying and the cafes all have eye-catching decorations that attract customers for photo opportunities," said Thu Trang, a tourist from Nha Trang.
