Upon receiving reports of the fire, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Ba Dinh District coordinated with relevant forces to dispatch about 7 fire trucks to the scene to extinguish the flames and carry out rescue operations.
"Initial assessments indicate that there have been no reported casualties from the fire. By 8:40 PM the same day, we were still actively controlling the fire," a representative from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Ba Dinh District reported.
At 9:50 PM, Chairman of the Ba Dinh District People's Committee Ta Nam Chien stated that the fire at Star 3 bar had been brought under control.
According to Mr. Chien, to prevent the fire from spreading and causing harm to people, authorities had previously evacuated residents living in the vicinity of the fire scene. The incident did not result in any casualties. Functional units are still spraying water for cooling, preventing re-ignition.
Witnesses at the scene recounted that the establishment was undergoing repairs and renovations, thus containing many flammable materials, causing the flames to spread rapidly, with black smoke rising dozens of meters high.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
