- The online check-in service allows customers to skip the procedures at the airport. If you have connecting flights on the same day, this service is available for all domestic and international flights, starting from 24 to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time of the first flight.
- The service also applies to itineraries that include domestic flights within Japan; however, it does not apply to itineraries that consist solely of domestic flights in Japan issued as domestic tickets.
- Pre-registration via the website (auto registration) does not apply to bookings made outside JAL (such as through travel agents or other airlines), package tours/travel. Please proceed with the check-in via the "Check in now" button starting 24 hours before the flight departs.
- Directly on Japan Airlines' website:
- Step 1: Access the homepage and click on the (+) icon, then select "web check-in."
- Step 2: Click the "Register now" button. If you select "Apply for auto registration," please check the procedures below.
- Step 3: Enter the booking number, electronic ticket number (Ticket Number), or Authorization Number, flight number, departure date, and passenger name.
- Step 4: Select the passenger to check in.
- Step 5: Confirm the details, check the box "I have read and agree to the policy on restricted items prohibited in carry-on or checked luggage," then click the "CONFIRM" button.
- Step 6: Confirm the flight and select a seat.
- Step 7: Enter passport information.
- Step 8: Choose how to receive the boarding pass.
