A gardening expert in Paris, France, shared with the Guardian about her experience finding spots to admire the golden and red leaves of autumn. She mentioned having been disappointed by the sight of withered brown leaves in many places in Paris during the autumn. "I started my journey to find locations with trees leaning towards shades of yellow, amber, reddish-brown, and bright red around the city." Here are seven suggestions published by the Guardian about beautiful autumn leaf viewing spots in Paris.
Jardin du Luxembourg
The Luxembourg garden is located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris and was established in the 17th century, nurtured by Queen Marie de' Medici. Although today the landscape and arrangement in the garden have changed significantly, it is still considered a green oasis in the heart of the city. The garden features over 600 fruit trees grown in the southern corner, next to the oldest beekeeping school in Paris.
The Luxembourg garden is also a popular spot for many people to read in a tranquil, peaceful setting. Visitors can stop by the Medici fountain to take in the view or sit on the benches overlooking the winding, shaded paths that run along the garden. A nearby spot to enjoy autumn leaves is the row of ginkgo trees displaying vibrant yellow leaves on Boulevard Saint-Michel, where the 5th and 6th arrondissements meet. Photo: paris_shuffle

Clichy-Batignolles - Martin Luther King Park
The Batignolles district or the 17th arrondissement of Paris not only hosts trendy cafes and restaurants but also has a farmer's market and the charming Square des Batignolles. Locals often come to this square to play petanque and feed the ducks. Two other locations in the 17th arrondissement suitable for autumn sightseeing are the green complex Clichy-Batignolles - Martin Luther King. This complex was completed in 2004, covering an area of 10.8 hectares. Each season here presents its unique scenery. In autumn, visitors can visit this green complex to admire the fruiting cherry trees, view the ash trees, and explore the various fruit-bearing plants of the season. Photo: bisachira

Albert Kahn Museum and Garden
The garden of French photographer Albert Kahn is located in the western suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt, about 10 km from downtown Paris. This garden is also a museum dedicated to preserving a vast collection of photography and film, Archives de la Planète, a project that ran from 1908 to 1931 capturing images of human cultures around the world.
The garden area features plants from various countries planted side by side. It includes two Japanese gardens with traditional and contemporary designs, featuring beautifully pruned trees surrounded by red maple trees, transporting visitors to Kyoto in the heart of Paris. Visitors should come here at least twice. The first time just to observe and enjoy, and the second time to learn more about the photography museum and the types of plants in the garden.
On Tuesdays of the second week of each month, the garden is illuminated and open until 10 PM. From October to March, the museum and garden open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Entry tickets are 8 euros for adults, free for those under 26 years of age. The first Sunday of each month, visitors get free admission. Photo: scissorisback
